These Terms of Service govern your use of Renova. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. 1. The Service Renova is an online learning platform that provides courses, lessons, quizzes, and progress tracking, some of which are generated or assisted by automated systems. Content is provided for general educational purposes only and is not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice. 2. Your Account You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You must meet the minimum age required by the laws of your jurisdiction to use the service. 3. Subscriptions and Payments Some content is free and other content requires a paid subscription. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor; we do not store your full payment card details. Paid subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time and will retain access through the end of the current billing period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. 4. Course Creators Eligible users may apply to publish courses. Applications are subject to identity and eligibility verification and to human review, and approval is at our discretion. Creators retain ownership of the content they submit and grant Renova a license to host, display, translate, and distribute that content on the platform. Creators are responsible for ensuring they have the rights to their content and that it is lawful and accurate. We may review, remove, or decline any content. 5. AI-Generated Content Lessons, explanations, quizzes, and tutoring responses may be generated or assisted by automated systems and can contain errors or omissions. Please use your own judgment and verify important information independently. 6. Acceptable Use You agree not to use the service for any unlawful, infringing, or harmful purpose, and not to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or other users' data. 7. Intellectual Property The platform, its software, and its branding are owned by Renova or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable right to access content for your own learning. 8. Termination We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are violated. You may stop using the service and request deletion of your account at any time. 9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, Renova is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. 10. Changes We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. 11. This section describes how Renova accesses, uses, stores, shares, and retains data obtained through Google when you choose to sign in with Google. It supplements the Privacy Policy above. Data We Access When you select "Continue with Google," we use Google OAuth to authenticate you and request only the basic profile scopes: your name, email address, profile picture, and your Google account identifier. We do not request or access your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google services or data. How We Use the Data We use this Google profile information solely to create and secure your account, sign you in, recognize you across sessions, and display your name and profile picture within the app. We do not use Google user data for advertising, and we do not use it to build profiles for purposes unrelated to providing the service. How We Share the Data We do not sell Google user data and do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. The data is processed only by our authentication and database provider (Supabase), acting on our behalf to operate sign-in and store your account, and may be disclosed where required by law. Renova's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Storage and Protection Google account information is stored in our managed database provided by Supabase and protected by encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and authentication safeguards. Access is limited to what is needed to operate the service. Retention and Deletion We retain your Google account profile information for as long as your account remains active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile settings or by emailing us at renova@renova.academy, after which we delete the data except where retention is required by law.
